Your path to emotional wellness starts here.
Meet your provider
My name is Kerry Rumasuglia (she/her) and I am the owner of Path to Wellness Psychotherapy. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I offer outpatient therapy to individuals and couples using a collaborative and active approach to improving your mental health and relationships. This may involve teaching and practicing coping skills in session with you, providing psycho education or resources and utilizing various other exercises to build skills that create lasting improvement.
I am trained in many different therapeutic techniques but specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I draw from various approaches including mindfulness and when it aligns with your values, spirituality. I specialize in treating PTSD and I also offer trauma intensives for those who want a fast track to healing. I offer LGBTQIA+ informed mental health care. I also have a therapy dog named Toby and offer Canine Assisted Psychotherapy to interested clients. I offer in-person sessions and telehealth to clients anywhere in Massachusetts.

Meet your therapy dog, Toby
Toby is a 4 year old Shih Tzu who is trained as an emotional support animal. He is calm, well mannered and provides therapeutic support to clients.
Canine Assisted Psychotherapy involves the use of a trained dog in session. Involvement may include holding, petting, grooming or feeding in order to help facilitate relaxation, reduce anxiety and improve mood during your session.
What if I don’t like dogs?
Toby does not have to be part of your treatment. He can be out of the office or kept separate from clients. This can be discussed prior to your intake session.
What if I am allergic to dogs?
Shih Tzus do not have fur and do not shed, which means they produce fewer allergens. Despite this, no dog can be truly hypoallergenic. Toby receives regular grooming and an air purifier is used in the office at all times. Any concerns about allergies can be addressed prior to your intake session.
